Mmmkay, Time for Something New

Yeah, it's been a while. I know. We've got some fun new stuff for everybody though. Videos AND pics!!
Eatin' squash in the sun.
He gets mad when you hold the spoon out in front of him like this.
Below are some videos of Taryn and his current mobility.
He and Snert like to play with toys together.
We bought a hooptie, part of the "u" and the "ry" fell off the "Mercury" emblem. So we call her the Mercl.
My gator and some water were shaded in graywash.
And the pup got a new sweater.

Three Posts for the Price of One

WARNING: This post contains many pictures.
PHOTOSHOOT ATTEMPT
I wanted to snap a cute picture of Taryn and I lying next to each other, but as you will see, that is a task that has proven itself to be very difficult. Even this early in his life, Taryn will not pose for pictures! ENJOY

First, he wanted to grab the camera. Most likely so he could chew on it.

This picture IS cute, but it wasn't exactly what we were going for.

His little neck got tired and PLOP, right into the floor. I was laughing. See him peeking past the blanket at the camera? I just noticed that.
"Must.....eat....CAMERA"

Granny walked by.

Too dark...WTF!?!!?! *BLING BLING WEDDING RING*

"PUPPY!!!"

"I'm gonna go get the puppy, mom. See you and the camera later."

And finally. A smirk and no distractions, good lighting...I'll accept this picture.
BLUE OPAL
This is Devon's latest complete project at work, it's an Opel, not a Corvette.
He's restoring it, same color. They're trying to talk the owner into doing a black european racing stripe.

SOME SHADING
My tatt is coming along nicely, this shading was done on the 20th. Rusty also put the Great Blue Heron on my forearm with some cattails and Cypress knees around him, (yes, my Heron is a him.) but my batteries died before I could get a picture of it and there are no AA's in the house. Just AAA's and the bigass one's...C's and D's I think. Mom took this picture for me, and Dad actually said he thinks its kinda pretty. What he didn't say outloud was, "but the fact that its on your arm isn't."

Sleeve in Progress

No captions, except for this: It's a work in progress, a first-date anniversary present from my wonderful hubbub! He has bartered a paint job for some ink. (Just in case you were wondering where we got cash for this.) It is going to be very colorful, a swamp. I loved the swamp, I want it with me everywhere I go. I'll keep y'all updated with the progression so you have no surprises come October. Peace out.

Picture Post

I'm not real sure what he was excited about, but 2 seconds later...
...he seemed a little p-oed!! Haha, he looks a lot like me in this picture.

Chani wanted to see my bleach-blonde hair, I wonder if she ever will...

There are those new teeth, Stacy. What do you think?
He's also saying mama and dada, but those haven't been captured on video yet, sigh.

Shoshone Falls

Me, Mom, Dad and Snert went to Shoshone Falls last week. Devon was tired from work so he stayed home with T. :( There is currently a lot more water coming over the falls than usual for this time of year, so we went to check it out.
Dad is looking at the river below the falls. He looks a bit sad...I should've asked him to smile. He wears that shirt a lot. I think mom hates it.
Cheesy mom, she likes being in picures about as much as I do.
See what I meant about more water?

He was so terrified that I was going to drop him. Poor thing couldn't relax. I just realized that I make that face in a lot of the pictures I'm in.
I love dogs, but I just couldn't help but laugh at this sign when I saw it!! Sweet memorial. But I think it's hilarious!

@ Work

I have a lot of fun every day I go to the salon. It's the most entertaining job I've ever had. I thought it'd be nice to share a little with family and friends. Plus, Travis says I need to post more blogs. ;)
Sometimes I cut myself. This time it was at the bottom of my palm. And although it was small, it was very, very deep. Hence all the blood. Sorry for those of you who are queezey around blood, but I thought it looked neat...yyyyeah. I've got a pretty fancy scar too. We bathe dogs in the tub in the background. Those cinderblock walls are supposed to be white...
This is...I don't remember this dog's name. But just so everyone knows, this is what I have to do to your dog if it has long hair and you don't brush it. BRUSH YOUR EFFING DOGS, PLEASE!!! It's called matting, and the fur hanging off of the dog is knotted together, kinda like dreads. We call what comes off in one piece a "pelt". LOL!
This was the best pomeranian puppy EVER! He recieved a Lion cut via: Nikki. It's my favorite haircut to give.
This is Mitch. He belongs to another groomer. She's still working on his potty training...

Testing Out New Teeth

Taryn is cutting teeth...we think. It's probably one of those eight times that they'll come up and go back in again. But we can see two little white dots pushing through in the middle of his bottom gums. Here's a video of him testing them out with his tongue, lol!
Here's a video of him being a little chatterbox.
Don't forget...MEMORY POST BELOW!!!

Memories of us...

(I wanted a different flower.)
1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. I can't wait to see what people remember.

5 Month Giggles!

Just a real quick, how-ya-doin', bring you up-to-date blog.
Some giggles! He's hard to please, and loses interest VERY quickly. The same thing never makes him laugh the next day...sigh. SOOO cute when it happens!
Got a little Cap'n in ya?
Photo shoot for the boys, lol!
A little "hello momma!" look.

Back in Idaho

Well, we've moved yet again. This time it'll be longer than 6 months, hopefully. We've been jumping around homes 'til Mom and Dad are ready for us, we'll be there a little while and then get a place of our own. Right now we are staying at Devon's parents' place while they're on a cruise, babysitting the schnauzers. They're adorable! LOUD, but adorable. I am excited to be able to groom them again while we live here! I'll post some pics of them sometime. Anyway, things slowed down a little since we first arrived and we all just layed around most of yesterday and today.
Taryn has become quite animated, here he is seeing something in a dream that makes him happy.
Not ten seconds later, I snapped another picture and got this adorable scowl. He's still asleep!
The infamous daddy-sleeps-with-baby picture. No pics of mommy sleeping, she never gets to do that...

What Happens With Boredom...

There's not much to do here, especially when you're new in town and a stay-at-home mom. SO...this happened! I'd always wanted to do it, but there were school rules and then job rules. Now the only thing that would've stopped me was people thinking "She's a MOTHER, why's her hair turquoise??" And my parents and Dixie telling me that I'm too beautiful to do that kind of stuff. WELL, I think I'm still beautiful, so there!
And I've just gotta say, YAY FOR PHOTOSHOP!!
